Panhandle crisis center, inc. has been providing services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Ochiltree, Hansford and Lipscomb since 1984.

Mission Statement: The ultimate goals of the Panhandle Crisis Center are: 1. Provide adequate quality of protection, shelter and other service for all victims of family violence and sexual assault who need such services. 2. Provide short-term counseling and emotional support for victims of family violence and sexual assault. 3. Help empower victims of family violence and sexual assault to become and remain self-supporting and self-sufficient. 4. Promote public awareness and understanding of victims family violence and sexual assault and provide appropriate referrals to the violent family member.
