The Department of Community and Human Development (DCHD) manages a wide range of programs and services to assist the city's most vulnerable residents and strengthen its communities.
These include affordable housing opportunities, homeless prevention, neighborhood improvement, senior volunteer opportunities, small business assistance all aimed to benefit low and moderate income residents.
The Department has administered over $388 million in various federal, state and local programs.
