Mission Statement: The Mission Wells Facility is located in the northeast San Fernando Valley community of Sylmar at 12331 Havana Avenue, Los Angeles, California. The facility draws Sylmar Basin groundwater through a system of production wells, a pump station, a sand-trap tank, and a chlorination station. The project scope includes the installation of three new wells and modification of the existing pump station to increase operational flexibility and capacity. None of these wells are currently active. One of the three wells is expected to be operational by 2018.
